{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-635.120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 635.120","heading":"Release of records of juvenile tried as an adult.","body":"(1) Records, limited to the records of the present case in which the child has been\ncharged, of juveniles tried as adults in the Circuit Court shall be open to the public\nafter the child has been indicted and arraigned on the offense for trial of the child as\nan adult.\n(2) Records of juveniles tried in the adult session of the District Court shall be open to\nthe public from the time the decision is made by the court to try the child as an\nadult.\n(3) This section shall not be construed as permitting the release of the child's treatment,\nmedical, mental, or psychological records unless the records are presented as\nevidence in Circuit Court.\n(4) The release of information under this section relative to the child's eligibility for\nservices under Title IV-E or IV-B of the Federal Social Security Act is prohibited.","path":["KRS Chapter 635"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=20297","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T21:00:09Z","sha256":"936892003f559406984f0003a905128dd80e3e7bc47172fc08971f11795928a1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-635.110","next":"us-ky/krs-635.500"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
