{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-64.017","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 64.017","heading":"County clerk's expense allowance.","body":"(1) The county clerk of any county shall receive a maximum annual expense allowance\nof $3,600 to be paid from the fees collected by the clerk.  In counties of less than\n75,000 population, the expense allowance shall be taken in monthly installments of\n$300 from fees collected on a calendar year basis.  In counties of 75,000 or more\npopulation, the allowance shall be paid in semimonthly installments of $150\naccording to the procedures found in KRS 64.345(4).  The expense allowance\nprovided by this section shall be in addition to other lawful expense payments.\n(2) If the amount of fees collected will not fund the full amount of the annual expense\nallowance, then the county clerk shall receive the excess of such fees after all other\nlawful expenses and salaries ha ve been paid.
