{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-64.091","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 64.091","heading":"Assessment by the fiscal court of additional fees on sheriff's service of","body":"subpoenas and civil summonses.\n(1) A fiscal court, by ordinance, may assess additional fees on subpoena and civil\nsummons service by the local sheriff for the purpose of paying e xpenses for\ncourthouses, bonds related to them, and administration expenses of courthouses.\nThe fees may be added as follows:\n(a) In addition to the fees normally charged for the service of a subpoena, the\nperson requesting service may be charged a fee of ten dollars ($10); and\n(b) In addition to the fees normally charged for the service of a civil summons,\nthe person requesting service may be charged a fee of ten dollars ($10).\n(2) Nothing in this section shall change any other fee allocation allowed by statute.","path":["KRS Chapter 64"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23193","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:18Z","sha256":"445e7fdc31ae8c8478e116c4da7a34c98644464e689ec7f2fcd93cf700ad1970","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-64.090","next":"us-ky/krs-64.092"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
