{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-64.655","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 64.655","heading":"Compensation and maintenance of physicians employed by the state.","body":"(1) As used in this section, unless the context clearly requires otherwise:\n\"Physician\" means a person authorized by law to practice medicine in this state.\n(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of KRS 64.640, the Personnel Cabinet may, upon\nthe recommendation of the hiring authority and with the approval of the Governor,\nestablish rates of compensation and maintenance within the constitutional limit for\neach position requiring the services of a qualified physician in any department,\nagency, or other unit of stat e government.
