{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-640.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 640.080","heading":"Jurisdiction of Parole Board -- Incarceration of youthful parole violators.","body":"(1) Youthful offenders shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kentucky Parole Board\nand may be placed on parole to the Department of Corrections. The Parole Board\nmay, with regard to a youthful offender, exercise any of the powers which it\npossesses pursuant to KRS Chapter 439, except as provided in KRS Chapters 600 to\n645.\n(2) A youthful offender parole violator shall, except as provided in KRS Chapters 635\nand 640, be incarcerated in a secure juvenile detention facility until eighteen (18)\nyears of age, unless released prior to that age.
