{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65.068","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65.068","heading":"Fees for fingerprint impressions or photograph requested for professional,","body":"trade, or commercial purposes or personal use.\n(1) Any city, county, charter county, urban -county government, consolidated local\ngovernment, unified local government, or special  district, or any agency or\ninstrumentality thereof, may charge a fee of ten dollars ($10) per set of fingerprint\nimpressions taken and five dollars ($5) per photograph taken or copied when those\nservices are requested by a person for professional, trade, or commercial purposes\nor for personal use.\n(2) If the Department of Kentucky State Police sets new fingerprinting and photograph\nfees under the provisions of KRS 16.068, any city, county, charter county, urban -\ncounty government, consolidated local governm ent, unified local government, or\nspecial district, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, may increase\nfingerprinting and photograph fees to equal those fees established by the\nDepartment of Kentucky State Police through administrative regulations.\n(3) Nothing in this section shall change any other fee allocation allowed by statute.","path":["KRS Chapter 65"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=43526","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:20Z","sha256":"e63ffe34be7252c587bede823a0e59128772aa4624623072bd6e0c7af24ae9b4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-65.067","next":"us-ky/krs-65.070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
