Within 30\ndays after receiving the proposal to acquire a scenic easement, the planning commission\nshall submit its report to the governing body. The governing body may extend the time\nfor submitting such a report for an additional period not exceeding 30 days. Th e report\nshall contain a statement that the proposal is, or is not, consistent with the comprehensive\nplan of the jurisdiction where such plan exists.
