{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65.690","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65.690","heading":"Ordinances governing increment bonds -- Required provisions.","body":"Increment bonds shall be issued, administered, and regulated only by ordinance adopted\nby the governing body which, in addition to any other provisions deemed appropriate by\nthe governing body, shall:\n(1) Declare the necessity of the increment bond issue;\n(2) State the principal amount or maximum principal amount of the increment bonds to\nbe issued;\n(3) State the purpose of the increment bond issue;\n(4) State or provide for the date of, and the dates and amounts or maximum amount of,\nmaturities or principal payments on the increment bonds;\n(5) State any provisions for a mandatory sinking fund, mandatory sinking fund\nredemption, or for redemption prior to maturity;\n(6) Provide for the rate or rates of interest, or maximum rate or rates of interest, or the\nmethod for establishing or determining the rate or rates of interest to be paid on the\nincrement bonds; and\n(7) State any provision for a designated officer of the issuer to determine any of the\nspecific terms required to be stated or provided for in this sec tion, subject to any\nlimitations stated in the proceedings.","path":["KRS Chapter 65"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23458","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:22Z","sha256":"efd8b39b0d32bdf1f7896f0600be01b763edfa8d074d9e5e6df6798e4b73eabc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-65.688","next":"us-ky/krs-65.692"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
