{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65.7083","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65.7083","heading":"Payment and release of incremental revenues -- Duties of local taxing","body":"districts and Department of Revenue.\n(1) Any agency that enters into a local participation agreement or local\ndevelopment area agreement for the release of incremental revenues duri ng\nthe period of a local participation agreement or local development area\nagreement shall, after each calendar year, in which a local participation\nagreement or local development area agreement is in effect, notify each taxing\ndistrict obligated under the local participation agreement or local development\narea agreement that incremental revenues are due and, in consultation with\neach taxing district, the agency shall determine the amount of incremental\nrevenues due from each taxing district.\n(2) Upon notic e from the agency, each taxing district obligated under a local\nparticipation agreement or local development area agreement shall release to the\nagency the incremental revenues due under the local participation agreement or\nlocal development area agreement . The agency shall certify to the authority on a\ncalendar year basis the amount of incremental revenues and occupational license\nfees collected where applicable.\n(3) The local taxing district shall have no obligation to refund or otherwise return any\nof th e incremental revenues to the taxpayer from whom the incremental revenues\narose or are attributable.
