{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65.8925","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65.8925","heading":"Web site to provide public access to expenditure records of regional","body":"wastewater commission -- Monthly updates -- Registration with Department\nfor Local Government -- Application of KRS 65A.010 to 65A.090.\n(1) By January 1, 2012, the commissioners of a  regional wastewater commission\nestablished under the provisions of KRS 65.8901 to 65.8923 shall provide public\naccess to records relating to expenditures of the commission through display of the\nrecords on a Web site.\n(2) The Web site shall be in a searchable format and shall provide financial information\nabout expenditures not exempt under the provisions of state or federal law,\nincluding:\n(a) The payee name;\n(b) The category or type of expenditure;\n(c) A description of the reason for the expenditure, if available;\n(d) The expenditure amount;\n(e) An electronic link to documents relating to the expenditure, if the documents\nare available electronically;\n(f) The budget adopted by the commission and subsequent amendments to that\nbudget;\n(g) The completed annual audit results; and\n(h) Any other information deemed relevant by the commission.\n(3) Information on the Web site shall be updated at least on a monthly basis and shall\nbe maintained on the Web site for at least three (3) years.\n(4) (a) The regional waste water commission shall register with the Department for\nLocal Government as required by KRS 65A.090.\n(b) For fiscal periods beginning on and after July 1, 2014, the provisions of KRS\n65A.010 to 65A.090 shall apply to regional wastewater commissions.\nCommissioners shall work with the Department for Local Government to\nprovide the information required by this s ection through the registry\nestablished by KRS  65A.020.","path":["KRS Chapter 65"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41704","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:23Z","sha256":"f0b1b37173ac4844d51e7d5c70ba932a5919865438389dbb94b76e287a8c9560","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-65.8923","next":"us-ky/krs-65.900"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
