{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65.920","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65.920","heading":"Effects of failure of local government to comply with certain specified","body":"statutory provisions.\n(1) Any local government that fails to submit annually a uniform financial information\nreport to the Department for Local Government shall be ineligi ble to receive county\nor municipal road aid moneys in accordance with KRS 177.360 or 177.366. Any\nlocal government receiving road aid moneys in accordance with KRS 177.365 to\n177.369 or KRS 177.320 and 177.360 that fails to comply with the provisions of\nKRS 65.900 to 65.925 shall immediately have all road aid payments suspended\nuntil the local government submits the uniform financial information report to the\nDepartment for Local Government.\n(2) If a local government receives payments of money from the Comm onwealth and\nfails to comply with the provisions of KRS 65.900 to 65.925 or KRS 92.280(1), the\nstate local finance officer may notify those agencies making payments to the local\ngovernment of noncompliance, and those agencies shall immediately suspend\ndelivery of all payments to the local government except those payments made\npursuant to KRS Chapter 154 or KRS 42.4588, until the state local finance officer\ndetermines that the local government has complied with the requirements of KRS\n65.900 to 65.925 or KRS  92.280(1). This subsection shall not be interpreted or\nconstrued to permit the state to withhold any nondiscretionary payments to a city\nthat are due the city for the provision of services by the city to the state or any of its\nagencies, including for the use of city utilities.","path":["KRS Chapter 65"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56541","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:23Z","sha256":"da9c1f86bb830ed5184b830dfa9722f08d911798532d76d3652a474233001ce6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-65.915","next":"us-ky/krs-65.925"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
