{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-65a.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 65A.070","heading":"Code of ethics.","body":"(1) (a) The board, officers, and employees of each special purpose governmental\nentity shall be subject to the code of ethics of the establishing entity in which\nthe special purpose governmental entity's principal business office is located.\n(b) If the principal b usiness office is located in more than one (1) establishing\nentity, the board of the special purpose governmental entity shall select one\n(1) of the applicable codes of ethics that will apply.\n(c) If there is no establishing entity, the board, officers, an d employees of the\nspecial purpose governmental entity shall be subject to the code of ethics of\nthe county in which the special purpose governmental entity's principal\nbusiness office is located.\n(2) The governing body of a special purpose governmental en tity may adopt ethics\nprovisions that are more stringent than those of the establishing entity in which its\nprincipal business office is located. If more stringent provisions are adopted, the\ngoverning body of the special purpose governmental entity shall,  within twenty-one\n(21) days of the adoption of the provisions, deliver a copy of the provisions to the\nDLG and the establishing entity. Any subsequent amendments shall also be\ndelivered to the DLG and the establishing entity within twenty -one (21) days of\nadoption.
