{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-66.045","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 66.045","heading":"State local debt officer may provide technical and advisory assistance on","body":"issuance of bonds.\n(1) It is the intent of this section to facilitate, through state technical and advisory\nassistance, the marketing of local government bonds and other long -term\nobligations at the lowest possible net interest costs.\n(2) The state local debt officer may provide technical and advisory assistance regarding\nthe issuance of bonds and obligations to those issuers whose governing bodies\nrequest that assistance. The assistance shall include, but need not be limited to:\n(a) Advice on the marketing of bonds and obligations by issuers;\n(b) Conduct of training courses in debt management; and\n(c) Promotion of the use by local governments of such tools for sound financial\nmanagement as adequate systems of budgeting, accounting, auditing, and\nreporting.","path":["KRS Chapter 66"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23571","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:23Z","sha256":"bb4ee6ce77c15e9d7633149ab5e46999056ae79b34b535f1881fe97b6fe763a9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-66.041","next":"us-ky/krs-66.050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
