{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-66.131","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 66.131","heading":"Signature on behalf of issuer -- Use of interest coupons.","body":"(1) Bonds shall be signed on behalf of the issuer as follows:\n(a) In the case of a city, urban -county, consolidated local government, or charter\ncounty, by the chief executive officer and attested by the clerk of the\ngovernmental body, or by the other officers  as are designated to sign by the\nlegislation authorizing the bonds;\n(b) In the case of a county, by the judge/executive or other chief executive officer\nand attested by the fiscal court clerk, or by the officers of the county as are\ndesignated to sign by the legislation authorizing the bonds; or\n(c) In the case of a taxing district, by the officer of the issuer designated by the\nlegislation authorizing the bonds.\n(2) If an officer designated to sign bonds or interest coupons pursuant to subsection (1)\nof this section is for any reason unable or unavailable to sign, another officer of the\nissuer, designated by legislation passed by the issuer, may sign instead of that\nofficer.\n(3) All signatures required by this section may be facsimile signatures.\n(4) If an officer who has signed, manually or by facsimile signature, any bonds of an\nissuer ceases to be the officer before the bonds so have been actually delivered, the\nbonds may nevertheless be issued and delivered as though the person who has\nsigned the bonds had not ceased to be the officer. Any bonds may be signed as\nprovided in this section, on behalf of the issuer, by an officer who is the proper\nofficer of the issuer on the actual date of signing of the bonds, notwithstanding the\nfact that at the date of t he bonds or on the date of delivery of the bonds that person\nwas or is not the officer of the issuer.\n(5) Bonds, other than fully registered bonds, may, in the discretion of the issuer, have\ninterest coupons attached or otherwise appertaining.
