Thereafter, no transfer shall be valid unless the transfer is\nentered on the records of the issuer and similarly noted on the bond, and the bond\nmay be discharged from registration by being in like manner transferred to bearer\nand thereupon the bond may be transferred by delivery.\n(2) Registration of a coupon bond as to principal does not affect the negotiability of the\nappertaining coupons.
