{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67.475","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67.475","heading":"Amortization of cost under lease terms.","body":"Immediately upon the approval of the plans and specifications, as provided in KRS\n67.470, the county shall offer to lease the building for a term of one (1) year from the\ntime the building is completed and ready for occupancy. The lease by its terms shall give\nthe lessee the option to extend the lease from year to year for periods of one (1) year until\nthe original term of the lease has been extended for the total number of years acceptable\nto the county buildings commission, not exceeding thirty (30) years  at a rental which, if\npaid for the original term and for each of the full number of years for which the term is\nextended, will amortize the total cost of the erection, remodeling or improvement of the\nbuilding and appurtenances, provide an adequate mainte nance fund and, in addition\nthereto, a sum sufficient to pay the cost of insuring the building against loss or damage by\nfire and windstorm or other calamity in such sum as may be agreed upon by the parties\nthereto.","path":["KRS Chapter 67"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23744","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:26Z","sha256":"4befeec66cc2692cf77a5fd005da5fc85e06a0c98c2b82ce5113431b61b7dd78","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-67.470","next":"us-ky/krs-67.480"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
