{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67.712","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67.712","heading":"Powers and immunities common to all county judges/executive and county","body":"governments, including urban -county governments and consolidated local\ngovernments.\n(1) Whenever rights, powers, privileges, immunities, and responsibilities are granted to\nthe county judge/executive in general statutes, the same shall be considered a grant\nin those counties in which a consolidated local government has been adopted\npursuant to KRS Chapter 67C to the mayor of the consolidated local government,\nand shall be considered a grant in those counties in which an urban -county\ngovernment has been adopted pursuant to KRS Chapter 67A to the officer in whom\nsuch functions are vested under the applicable provision of the comprehensive plan\nof an urban-county government, if any, and otherwise to the chief executive officer\nof an urban-county government.\n(2) Whenever rights, powers, privileges, immunities, and responsibilities are granted to\nthe fiscal court in general statutes, the same shall be considered a grant in those\ncounties in  which a consolidated local government has been adopted pursuant to\nKRS Chapter 67C to the officer or officers in whom such functions are vested\npursuant to KRS 67C.103(1) and 67C.105(1), respectively, of the consolidated local\ngovernment, and shall be con sidered a grant in those counties in which an urban -\ncounty government has been adopted pursuant to KRS Chapter 67A to the\nlegislative body of the urban-county government.","path":["KRS Chapter 67"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23772","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:26Z","sha256":"3ba959e4fe0eeb35de4d5ddb7f61dd6c80d1b820f493e5251bed00912dd272ae","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-67.711","next":"us-ky/krs-67.715"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
