The bond shall be a minimum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) with\nsureties approved by the fiscal court, which shall record the approval of sureties in its\nminutes. If the fiscal court does not approve sureties under this section within thirty (30)\ndays after the county judge/executive has taken office, the Circuit Judge shall approve the\nsureties. Premiums on the bond of the county judge/executive sha ll be paid from county\nfunds appropriated by the fiscal court.
