{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67.825","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67.825","heading":"Authorization for charter county government or consolidation of services or","body":"functions.\nIn order to facilitate the operation of local government, to prevent duplication of services,\nand to promote efficient and economical management of the affairs of local government,\nthe citizens of any county, except in a county containing a consolidated local government,\na city of the first class, an urban -county government, or a unified local government, may\nvote to merge all units of city and county government int o a charter county form of\ngovernment or to consolidate any agency, subdivision, department, or subdistrict\nproviding any services or performing any functions for a city or county.
