{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67a.330","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67A.330","heading":"Preservation of employees' rights.","body":"From and after the effective date of the urban -county form of government there shall be,\nwith respect to each employee, an inviolable contract between the urban -county\ngovernment as employer and such employee; and the urban -county government and its\nemployees shall continue to operate under KRS 67A.230 to 67A.330 and all substantial\nmatters contained in the ordinance first adopted hereunder. A repeal or modification of\nsubstantial provisions of that ordinance by the urban -county government shall in no wise\naffect such contract, unless by the mutual consent of the urban -county government and\nthe affected employee. Such contract and right shall not be affected, either directly or\nindirectly, by an action of the urban -county government, its legislative body, ex ecutive\nofficers, citizens or voters, whether under the guise of altering its form of government,\nadopting a new form of government or classification, abolishing any governmental or\nmunicipal entity, and substituting same with another governmental or municipal entity, or\nany other means whatsoever. The first ordinance referred to in this paragraph shall\ninclude, if applicable, any ordinance of a city, county or other municipality existing prior\nto the adoption of the urban -county form of government which is  adopted by the urban -\ncounty government for any period of time by its comprehensive plan or ordinance.
