{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67a.710","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67A.710","heading":"Definitions.","body":"(1) The term \"assessed value basis\" as used in KRS 67A.715 to 67A.825 means the\nplan for levying of improvement benefit assessments on the basis of the assessed\nland values of the benefited properties, as authorized by KRS 67A.715 to 67A.825.\n(2) The term \"co sts\" as applied to any project undertaken under KRS 67A.715 to\n67A.825 includes the cost of labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete\nthe project in a satisfactory manner, cost of land acquired, and every expense\nconnected with the project, inc luding preliminary and other surveys, inspections of\nthe work, engineers' fees and costs, attorneys' fees, preparation of plans and\nspecifications, publication of ordinances and notices, interest which will accrue on\nthe bonds until the due date of the fir st annual improvement assessment levied in\nconnection therewith, a sum equal to any discount in the sale of the bonds (if\ndiscount bids are authorized and permitted by the governing body), a reasonable\nallowance for unforeseen contingencies, the printing o f bonds, and other costs of\nfinancing which may include the payment of a fee to a fiscal agent for advice and\nassistance in the preparation and marketing of the bonds.","path":["KRS Chapter 67A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23922","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:28Z","sha256":"9eef7c7ef037c2d66aca092dbf1dbe737685c483453110e5e47b2f2bfca5c003","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-67a.6911","next":"us-ky/krs-67a.715"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
