{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-67a.849","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 67A.849","heading":"Subsequent referendum to increase, decrease, or eliminate funding","body":"sources.\n(1) At any time not earlier than five (5) years following the passage of a purchase of\ndevelopment rights proposal in a referendum authorized by KRS 67A.843 and\n67A.847, a referendum may be held on the question of whether to increase,\ndecrease, or eliminate the funding sources of the program, either upon the adoption\nof a resolution by the legislative body of the urban -county government or upon the\nfiling of a duly certified petition, according to the same procedures set forth in KRS\n67A.847.\n(2) The passag e of a referendum to decrease or eliminate the funding sources for a\npurchase of development rights program will not be legally effective prior to the\nsatisfaction of all contractual obligations that have been assumed by pertinent\ncontracting authorities in connection with the program.","path":["KRS Chapter 67A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=23951","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:28Z","sha256":"d3b842c7dd7d033331fb381c15783138bdd4f6aefa6f78381e49aad281a1e9f1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-67a.847","next":"us-ky/krs-67a.850"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
