{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-70.350","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 70.350","heading":"Execution of process -- Jurisdiction.","body":"(1) Constables may execute warrants where specifically authorized by statute, and\nsummons, subpoenas, attachments, notices, rules and orders of court in all criminal,\npenal, and civil cases, and shall return all process placed in his or her hands to the\ncourts or persons issuing them, on or before the return day, noting the time of\nexecution on them.\n(2) A constable may exercise the duties of his or her office in any part of the county,\nbut shall not execute any process in which he or she is personally interest ed except\nfee-bills for his or her own service. He or she shall not levy on or sell land, or any\ninterest therein.\n(3) The constable shall not be compelled to receive a precept, fee -bill or order for\nwitness attendance, or other claim against any person wh o is known to be and to\nreside out of his or her district, unless the precept is in behalf of the Commonwealth\nor is a precept against property in his or her district.
