The bond shall be recorded by the\nfiscal court in the office of the county clerk. The fact that the constitutional oath has been\ntaken and the approval of the bond shall be entered upon the records of the fiscal court.\nPremiums on the bond of the c oroner may be paid from county funds when appropriated\nby the fiscal court. No jailer, sheriff or sheriff's deputy, county judge/executive, clerk, or\nattorney shall be surety for the coroner on his official bond. Every coroner shall have the\nauthority to appoint deputy coroners.
