This person shall not be one (1) of the water district's commissioners. The person\nmay be designated the general manager, superintendent, or chief executive o fficer of the\ndistrict or by any other similar title. The chief executive officer shall perform such\nadditional duties as the commission may require of him or her and shall be subject to the\norders of the commission. The chief executive officer shall emplo y all necessary labor\nand assistance in the performance of his or her duties, and he or she shall report to the\ncommission all expenses incurred.
