{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-74.490","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 74.490","heading":"Commission may contract to supply other public bodies.","body":"The commission shall also have the right to supply water to any city, water association,\nwater district, political subdivision, federal agency or other public body, or any water\ndistribution system regulated by the Public Service Commission, in addition to  the cities,\nwater associations, water districts, or federal agencies which are represented by the\ncommission, upon the payments, terms, and conditions mutually agreed upon. No capital\nexpenditures shall be made by the commission for the purpose of furnish ing water to the\nother party or parties. Any contract entered into to supply water to a city, water\nassociation, water district, federal agency, political subdivision, or other public body shall\nprovide that payments to be made thereunder shall be solely f rom the revenues to be\nderived by the city, water association, water district, political subdivision, or other public\nbody from the operation of the water works distribution system thereof; and the contract\nshall be a continuing, valid, and binding obligat ion of the city, water association, federal\nagency, water district, political subdivision, or other public body, payable from the\nrevenues for a period of years, not to exceed fifty (50), as provided in the contract.
