{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-75.410","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 75.410","heading":"Program for recognition and certification of volunteer fire department --","body":"Authority for administrative regulations.\n(1) The commission shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with\nKRS Chapter 13A to create a program for recognition an d annual certification of\nvolunteer fire departments. The criteria for recognition and certification shall be\nconsistent with the provisions of KRS 95A.262.\n(2) In order to be recognized and certified, a volunteer fire department shall be\norganized pursuant to KRS 75.010, KRS 67.083, KRS Chapter 95, or KRS Chapter\n273.\n(3) Volunteer fire departments existing on July 15, 1994, which are receiving volunteer\nfire department aid pursuant to KRS 95A.262(2) shall have until July 1, 1995, to\ncomply with regulation s promulgated pursuant to subsection (1) of this section in\norder for their aid to continue.
