{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-76.243","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 76.243","heading":"Engineering survey of construction subdistrict -- Assessment of benefits --","body":"Notice.\n(1) The board shall, before entering upon any construction work in any construction\nsubdistrict or any contracts therefor, have an engineering survey made of the\nterritory within the construction subdistrict and report to the district board as to\nplans for sewer or drainage construction or both and as to the estimated cost thereof,\nwith recommendations as to whether or not such construction is technically and\neconomically feasible.\n(2) The district shall add to the engineering report a classification of benefit to property\nto permit assessment of real estate pursuant to KRS 76.251, 76.253, 76.257 and\n76.258 if the district seeks to finance construction under one (1) of t hose sections.\nThe district shall cause notice of the proposed assessment to be mailed by first class\nmail to every affected freeholder at his last known address prior to publication\nunder subsection (1) of KRS 76.246.","path":["KRS Chapter 76"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=24508","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:36Z","sha256":"494dd568d31f2690908a38853578cf5d01df633f6b050af1da27d0028dd16fc5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-76.242","next":"us-ky/krs-76.244"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
