{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-76.257","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 76.257","heading":"Financing may be arranged as in cities, terms in KRS Chapter 107 defined.","body":"(1) In the financing of a construction subdistrict the district may use the authority and\nprocedures granted to incorporated municipalities by KRS 107.010 to 107.220.\nWhen applied to construction subdistricts, terms used in KRS 107.010 to 107.220\nshall be construed to mean the following: \"city\" means \"metropolitan sewer\ndistrict\"; \"ordinance\" means \"resolution\"; \"clerk\" means \"secretary -treasurer of\ndistrict\"; \"governing body\" means \"metropolitan sewer district board\"; and \"mayor\nor chairman of board of dir ectors\" means \"chairman of metropolitan sewer district\nboard.\" Bonds issued pursuant to this section are construction subdistrict bonds and\nobligations secured by assessments.\n(2) The provisions of subsection (1), permitting financing subdistrict construct ion\nunder the provisions of KRS 107.010 to 107.220, shall not repeal or reduce any\nexisting rights or duties of the district, but shall constitute an additional method of\nfinancing.","path":["KRS Chapter 76"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=24522","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:36Z","sha256":"3458d6dc0d9408eda26c99bfbfb2ac0ec6da4b6be97ab78c3b5e3d512a228a75","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-76.256","next":"us-ky/krs-76.258"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
