{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-78.470","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 78.470","heading":"Collective bargaining authorized -- Strikes prohibited.","body":"Except  as provided in KRS  336.130, in any county in the Commonwealth  of\nKentucky, which has a population of 300,000 or more and which has adopted the\nmerit system, the county employees in the classified service as police may organize,\nform, join or participate in organizations in order to engage in lawful concerted\nactivities for the purpose of collective bargaining or other mutual aid and protection,\nand  to bargain collectively through representatives of their own free choice. Such\nemployees shall also have the right to refrain from any or all such activities.
