{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-78.990","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 78.990","heading":"Penalties.","body":"Any person who shall knowingly violate any of the provisions of KRS 78.400 to 78.460\nshall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not\nless than fifty dollars ($50) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by\nimprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months or by both such fine and\nimprisonment and if such person be an applicant for any employment covered hereby, he\nshall be excluded from such examination for a period of three (3) years thereafter and if\nthe n ame of such person be on any eligible list of the said board, his name shall be\nremoved therefrom and if he be an officer or employee of the county, he shall be removed\nforthwith therefrom and be ineligible for any such appointment to public office or\nemployment for a period of three (3) years thereafter.","path":["KRS Chapter 78"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=24782","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:39Z","sha256":"df5aad586d6821c9d4d998f3080f1f1813603f0cfda6795999eeb5ad2d8ac4e4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-78.880","next":"us-ky/krs-78.991"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
