{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-79.160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 79.160","heading":"Transfer of employees -- Applicability of civil service laws.","body":"(1) When the governing bodies of any two or more political subdivisions within the\nsame county, which may include the fiscal court, enter into a contract for the\nrendering of governmental services the contract shall make such provision for the\ntransfer of empl oyees from the departments of the one or more subdivision or\nsubdivisions of government receiving the service to the departments of the\nsubdivision of government rendering the service as may effect the efficient\nfunctioning of the plan for service to the people.\n(2) In the event that in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of this section,\nemployees are transferred to a governmental department subject to any civil service\nlaws or regulation, those transferred employees shall during the term of t he contract\nbe subject to any such civil service laws or regulations.
