{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-7a.120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 7A.120","heading":"State capital improvement plan.","body":"(1) Every two (2) years, the board shall prepare a state capital improvement plan\ncontaining its proposals for state spending for capital projects.\n(2) Copies of the plan shall be submitted to the Governor, the Chief Justice, and the\nLegislative Research Commission no later than November 1 of each odd -numbered\nyear. The plan shall provide:\n(a) A detailed list of all capital projects of the state, including transportation\nprojects as submitted by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and approved\nby the Joint Tran sportation Committee, which the board recommends be\nundertaken or continued by any state agency during the six (6) fiscal year\nperiod commencing with the upcoming biennial budget, together with\ninformation as to the effect of these capital projects on futu re operating\nexpenses of the Commonwealth, and with recommendations as to the priority\nof these capital projects and the means of funding them;\n(b) The forecast of the board as to the requirements for capital projects of state\nagencies during the six (6) f iscal year period and for those additional periods,\nif any, necessary or desirable for adequate presentation of particular capital\nprojects, and a schedule for the planning and implementation or construction\nfor these additional periods;\n(c) A schedule for  the next biennial budget of recommended appropriations of\nbond funds from issues of bonds previously authorized;\n(d) A review of capital projects which have recently been implemented or\ncompleted or are in process of implementation or completion;\n(e) Recommendations as to the maintenance of physical properties and equipment\nof state agencies; and\n(f) Any other information that the board deems relevant to the foregoing matters.\n(3) Each state agency, excluding the Department of Highways, shall no later than  April\n15 of each odd -numbered year provide the board with information described in\nsubsection (2) of this section in the form that shall be prescribed by the board.\n(4) In addition to information available to the board under the computerized record\nkeeping of the Finance and Administration Cabinet, each state agency shall, when\nrequested, provide the board with supplemental information concerning any real\nproperty owned or leased by the agency, including its current or future availability\nfor other state uses.","path":["KRS Chapter 7A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=499","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:27Z","sha256":"8b5d52743ad4a22bac3a611c3a5be847fbcf1f3f079c9d99ca9658f187d21ea5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-7a.110","next":"us-ky/krs-7a.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
