{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-7b.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 7B.080","heading":"Kentucky Long -Term Policy Research Center fund -- Investment of","body":"moneys -- Appropriations.\n(1) The operation of the center shall be funded from the restricted agency fund\nestablished in subsection (3) of this section.\n(2) There is hereby established a fiduciary fund to be entitled the Kentucky Long -Term\nPolicy Research Center fund. The fund may receive appropriations, gifts, grants,\nand federal funds. Moneys in the fund shall not lapse back to the General Fund at\nthe end of any fiscal year. Moneys i n the fund shall be invested by the Office of\nFinancial Management within the Office of the Controller, consistent with the\nprovisions of KRS Chapter 42.\n(3) A restricted agency fund account is established to receive the interest on the\nfiduciary fund and any other resources made available to the center. Interest from\nthe fiduciary fund shall be credited to the restricted agency fund account on a\nmonthly basis for the center's operations. Moneys in the account shall be invested\nby the Office of Financial Ma nagement within the Office of the Controller,\nconsistent with the provisions of KRS Chapter 42.\n(4) Any appropriation by the General Assembly to the fiduciary fund shall remain\nintact and shall not be available to the board, and should the center and its f unctions\nterminate, the principal and any remaining interest from other accumulated funds\nshall revert to the general fund of the Commonwealth or to the donor.","path":["KRS Chapter 7B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=512","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:27Z","sha256":"715d6e874cd41d8e3d2db741a79ebb9a47ff0334d4662f5507bdddaf621d702e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-7b.070","next":"us-ky/krs-7b.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
