The authority shall fix the compensation of its employees.\nThe legislative body of a city may prescribe limitations to the compensation of\nemployees of the city authority and may prescribe whether or not an employee shall\ndevote his entire time to his duties as an employee of the authority.\n(2) In fixing the compensation of its employees, an authority may, but is not required\nto, utilize an incentive co mpensation arrangement whereby the employee may\nreceive, subject to appropriate limits, additional compensation measured by the\nextent of the achievement by the authority of specified operating goals, which goals\nshall be established by the authority prior  to the commencement of work by the\nemployee on the matter with respect to which the goals were set.","path":["KRS Chapter 80"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=24815","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:40Z","sha256":"0abe1b829aa95e42f5cd6db60d620b7feae72a6ffdcaf7ed0061d6055f6fdf7c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-80.060","next":"us-ky/krs-80.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
