{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-80.150","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 80.150","heading":"Condemnation authorized -- Procedure.","body":"If it becomes necessary to condemn property for the purpose of constructing any housing\nthat an authority may be permitted to acquire, establish, and operate under KRS\n80.020(1), or securing rights of way leading thereto, the authority may, by resolution\nreciting the need, order the condemnation of any land or improvement or interest in land,\nthat it deems necessary. Proceedings for the condemnation shall be in the Circuit Court of\nthe county in which the property lies, and shall be conducted in the name of  the authority.\nThe city attorney shall conduct the proceedings for the authority. The judgment of the\ncourt shall vest title in fee simple to the property condemned in the authority. In all other\nrespects the form and manner of the proceedings shall be th e same as that provided in the\nEminent Domain Act of Kentucky.
