{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-80.570","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 80.570","heading":"Form of bonds -- Sale -- Negotiability -- Presumption of validity.","body":"(1) Bonds of an authority shall be authorized by its resolution and may be issued in one\n(1) or more series and shall bear a date or dates, mature at a time or times, bear\ninterest at a rate or rates or method of determining rates, be in a denomination or\ndenominations, be in a form, either coupon or registered, carry conversion or\nregistration privileges, have a rank or priority, be executed in a manner, be payable\nin a medium of payment, at the place or places, and be subject to the terms of\nredemption (with or without premium) as the resolution, its trust indenture, or\nmortgage may provide.\n(2) The bonds may be sold at public or private sale.\n(3) In case any of the members or officers of the authority whose signatures appear on\nany bonds or coupons shall ceas e to be members or officers before the delivery of\nthe bonds, their signatures shall, nevertheless, be valid and sufficient for all\npurposes, the same as if they had remained in office until the delivery. Any bonds\nissued pursuant to KRS 80.320 to 80.610 shall be fully negotiable.\n(4) In any action or proceeding involving the validity or enforceability of any bond of\nan authority or its security, any bond reciting in substance that it has been issued by\nthe authority to aid in financing a housing project to  provide dwelling\naccommodations for persons of low income shall be conclusively deemed to have\nbeen issued for a housing development of that character and the project shall be\nconclusively deemed to have been planned, located, and constructed in accordanc e\nwith the purposes and provisions of KRS 80.320 to 80.610.","path":["KRS Chapter 80"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=24872","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:40Z","sha256":"c8b18fc38e37a115f4ab0b864151b0a26157ef188f8e3c60e27e363f3bf6447f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-80.560","next":"us-ky/krs-80.580"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
