{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-83.660","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 83.660","heading":"Removal of executive and ministerial officers -- Appeals.","body":"(1) Unless otherwise provided by law, executive and ministerial officers of the city may\nbe removed by the board of aldermen, sitting as a court, under oath, upon charges\npreferred by the mayor or by any two (2) members of the board of aldermen, or, in\ncase of charges against the mayor, upon charges preferred by not less than five (5)\nmembers of the board of aldermen. No alderman preferring a charge shall sit as a\nmember of the board of aldermen when it tries that charge.\n(2) Any person removed from office unde r the provisions of this section may appeal to\nthe Circuit Court and from there to the Court of Appeals.
