{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-91.507","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 91.507","heading":"Judgment after trial.","body":"(1) After the trial of the issues, the court shall render judgment as promptly as\ncircumstances permit.\n(2) If the court finds that no tax bill was delinquent when the action was instituted or\ntried, the judgment of the court shall be that the action be dism issed as to the\nparcels of real estate described in the tax bill.\n(3) If the evidence warrants, the judgment may be for the principal amount of the\ndelinquent tax bill upon the real estate upon which the action was brought, together\nwith interest, penalties, and court costs computed as of the date of the judgment.\n(4) The court may decree that the lien upon the parcel of real estate described in the tax\nbill be enforced and the real estate be sold by the master commissioner with the cost\ncontinued for further proceedings as provided by KRS 91.481 to 91.527.","path":["KRS Chapter 91"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57366","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:48Z","sha256":"394dcd5cab67cef1e2a8c3cbd591c6ab585241ad16affa1012008d2973c79d8e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-91.505","next":"us-ky/krs-91.510"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
