{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-95.628","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 95.628","heading":"Treasurer of fund, duties, bond.","body":"(1) The city treasurer or chief financial officer shall be ex officio treasurer of the board\nof trustees of the pension fund, and custodian of the pension fund.\n(2) The treasurer, as custodian, shall securely keep the fund, subject to the control of\nthe board,  and shall keep his books and accounts concerning the fund in such\nmanner as may be prescribed by the board. The books and accounts shall always be\nsubject to the inspection of the board or any board member.\n(3) The treasurer shall, within ten (10) days after his appointment, execute a bond to the\ncity with good surety, in such penal sum as the board of trustees directs, to be\napproved by the board, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his\noffice, and that he will safely keep and well a nd truthfully account for all money\nand properties that come into his hands as treasurer of the pension fund, and that\nupon the expiration of his term of office he will deliver to his successor all\nsecurities, unexpended moneys and other properties that co me into his hands as\ntreasurer of the fund.
