{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-95a.290","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 95A.290","heading":"Distribution of insufficient funds -- Exception.","body":"(1) If funds appropriated by the General Assembly and otherwise made available to the\nfund are insufficient to provide the amount of money required by KRS 95A.250, the\ncommission shall make a uniform percentage reduction in the allotment of funds\navailable.\n(2) The provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall not apply to amounts due the\nKentucky Community and Technical College System pursuant to KRS 95A.240.\n(3) Funds appropriated by the General Assembly and unexpended by the commission at\nthe close of t he fiscal year for which the funds were appropriated and otherwise\nmade available to this fund pursuant to KRS 42.190, 95A.220 and 136.392 shall not\nlapse as provided by KRS 45.229, but shall be carried forward into the following\nfiscal year, and shall be used solely for the purposes specified in KRS 95A.200 to\n95A.300.","path":["KRS Chapter 95A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26150","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:57Z","sha256":"8011b74b25eebff0f1483ec6f8667931af8febcc173a6f0dada43671490ada83","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-95a.280","next":"us-ky/krs-95a.292"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
