{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-96.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 96.070","heading":"City may grant rights-of-way to utilities -- Conditions.","body":"The legislative body of any city may grant rights -of-way over the public streets or public\ngrounds of the city to any utility company, on such conditions as seem proper, shall have\na supervising control over the use of same, and shall regulate the speed of cars and signals\nand fare on street cars. The legislative body may compel any railroad company to erect\nand maintain gates at street crossings and prevent railroads from obstructing public ways\nof the city, and fix penalties for the violation of these pro visions.
