{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-96.173","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 96.173","heading":"Salaries of board members and secretary -treasurer -- All salaries and","body":"expenses payable from revenues of plant.\n(1) The salary of each member of the board shall be fixed by the board, and shall not\nexceed two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400) per annum.\n(2) Such salaries, as well as the salary of the secretary -treasurer of such board, shall\nconstitute a cost of operation and maintenance of the plant.\n(3) The municipality shall not be liable for the payment of any salary or compensation\nof any of the  members of said board, or for the payment of the salary or\ncompensation or expenses of any person employed by said board, and all such\nsalaries, compensation and expenses and any and all liabilities, of whatever kind or\ncharacter incurred by the board or any officer or employee thereof, shall be payable\nsolely and only out of the revenues obtained by said board under the provisions of\nKRS 96.171 to 96.188, and said liabilities shall be so limited.","path":["KRS Chapter 96"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26186","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:57Z","sha256":"fcfedd34a3940482b80c5b8fe873963efaefe808efa6e67e8bb85d67772a78a2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-96.172","next":"us-ky/krs-96.174"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
