{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-96a.190","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 96A.190","heading":"Annual audit -- Compliance with KRS 65A.010 to 65A.090.","body":"(1) Each authority shall employ a certified public accountant, or firm thereof, to make\nan annual audit of the authority's financial accounts and affairs, and to make a report\nthereof, including comments of the auditor regarding whether or not the authority is\nin compliance with statutory requirements and with lawful covenants and\ncommitments made in its contract or bond proceedings. A copy of each audit report\nshall be filed and kept open for public inspection in the office of the secretary -\ntreasurer of the au thority, and a copy shall be provided to the clerk, secretary or\nother appropriate office of record of each public body which may have participated\nin the creation and organization of the authority, or in the subsequent expansion\nthereof.\n(2) Each authority shall comply with the provisions of KRS 65A.010 to 65A.090.","path":["KRS Chapter 96A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41724","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:49:59Z","sha256":"2b55235dbd5046a53e591cbfc00ee25b4ee34176516ec7eb0dca4b4834f354fb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-96a.180","next":"us-ky/krs-96a.200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
