{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-98.160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 98.160","heading":"Appointment of new commission or continuance of old commission.","body":"(1) If a commission is in existence at the time a bond issue is authorized, the\ncommission and its successors shall continue any work provided for in KRS 98.040\nto 98.170, and shall have all the rights granted to the commission in the first\ninstance. All of it s property of every kind shall be vested in it as a corporation and\nthe corporation shall be a continuance of the corporation then existing under any\nformer act of the general assembly theretofore passed.\n(2) If no commission exists at the time any bond i ssue is authorized, a new commission\nmay be appointed and the provisions of KRS 98.040 to 98.170 shall apply to each\nnew issue of bonds and to each new commission and the continuance of the work of\nthe commission and to the carrying out of the work of KRS 98.040 to 98.170, the\nsame as in the first instance.","path":["KRS Chapter 98"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26477","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:01Z","sha256":"c42baf22c49333e140b19c69fb260513a17c8ef9c7715a1ba9ffa1c27e7d800c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-98.150","next":"us-ky/krs-98.170"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
