{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.030","heading":"Development plan -- What to include.","body":"(1) A development plan shall contain:\n(a) A metes and bounds or other legal description of the development area;\n(b) A statement of the various stages, if more than one (1) is intended, by which\nthe development is proposed to be constructed or undertaken, and the time\nlimit for the completion of each stage, together with a metes and bounds\ndescription of the real property to be included in each stage;\n(c) A statement of the existing buildings or improvements in the development\narea to be demolished immediately, if any;\n(d) A statement of the ex isting buildings or improvements in the development\narea not to be demolished immediately, if any, and the approximate period of\ntime during which the demolition, if any, of each such building or\nimprovement is to take place;\n(e) A statement of the propose d improvements, if any, to each building not to be\ndemolished immediately, any proposed repairs or alterations to such building,\nand the approximate period of time during which such improvements, repairs\nor alterations are to be made;\n(f) A statement of th e type, number and character of each new industrial,\ncommercial, residential or other building or improvement to be erected or\nmade;\n(g) A statement of those portions, if any, of the development area which may be\npermitted or will be required to be left as  open space, the use to which each\nsuch open space is to be put, the period of time each such open space will be\nrequired to remain an open space and the manner in which it will be improved\nand maintained, if at all;\n(h) A statement of those portions, if a ny, of the development area which the\nredevelopment corporation proposes to sell, donate, exchange or lease to, with\nor from the city, and an outline of the terms of such proposed sale, donation,\nexchange or lease;\n(i) A statement of the proposed changes, if any, in zoning ordinances or maps,\nnecessary or desirable for the development and its protection against blighting\ninfluences;\n(j) A statement of the proposed changes, if any, in streets or street levels and any\nproposed street closings;\n(k) A statement of the character of the existing dwelling accommodations, if any,\nin the development area, the approximate number of families residing therein,\ntogether with a schedule of the rentals being paid by them, and a schedule of\nthe vacancies in such accommodati ons, together with the rental demanded\ntherefor;\n(l) A statement of the character, approximate number of units, approximate\nrentals and approximate date of availability of the proposed dwelling\naccommodations, if any, to be furnished during construction an d upon\ncompletion of the development;\n(m) A statement of the proposed method of financing the development, in\nsufficient detail to evidence the probability that the redevelopment corporation\nwill be able to finance or arrange to finance the development; and\n(n) A statement of persons who it is proposed will be active in or associated with\nthe management of the redevelopment corporation during a period of at least\none (1) year from the date of the approval of the development plan.\n(2) The development plan, and any application to the planning commission or\nsupervising agency for approval thereof, may contain in addition such other\nstatements or materials as may be deemed relevant by the proposer thereof,\nincluding limits on the amounts w hich may be paid as compensation for services to\nthe officers and employees of the redevelopment corporation, suggestions for the\nclearance, replanning, reconstruction or rehabilitation of one or more areas which\nmay be larger than the development area but  which include it, and any other\nprovisions for the redevelopment of such area or areas.","path":["KRS Chapter 99"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26503","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:01Z","sha256":"3c27ea6a8b40cbbaf5f104c0857fed569dbd84846daa776244bc88abd9a8fa2a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-99.020","next":"us-ky/krs-99.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
