{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.200","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.200","heading":"Authority to transfer real property to redevelopment corporations.","body":"Notwithstanding any requirement of law to the contrary or the absence of direct provision\ntherefor in the instrument under which a fiduciary is acting, every executor, administrator,\ntrustee, guardian, conservator or any other person holding trust funds or  acting in a\nfiduciary capacity, unless the instrument under which such fiduciary is acting expressly\nforbids, the state, its subdivisions, cities, all other public bodies, all public officers,\ncorporations organized under or subject to the provisions of t he banking law (including\nsavings banks, savings and loan associations, trust companies, banking corporations), the\ncommissioner of the Department of Financial Institutions as conservator, liquidator or\nrehabilitator of any such person, partnership or corp oration, persons, partnerships and\ncorporations organized under or subject to the provisions of the insurance law, the\ncommissioner of the Department of Insurance as conservator, liquidator or rehabilitator of\nany such person, partnership or corporation, any of which owns or holds any real property\nwithin a development area, may grant, sell, lease or otherwise transfer any such real\nproperty to a redevelopment corporation, and receive and hold any cash, stocks, notes,\nmortgages, or other securities or oblig ations, which they are allowed by law to acquire,\nexchanged therefor by such redevelopment corporation, and may execute such\ninstruments and do such acts as may be deemed necessary or desirable by them or it and\nby the redevelopment corporation in connecti on with the development and the\ndevelopment plan.","path":["KRS Chapter 99"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26520","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:01Z","sha256":"b0b8cf72f500fff953b574c2cc0065961811181553202b17581afab9716cfd2a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-99.190","next":"us-ky/krs-99.210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
