{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.300","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.300","heading":"Certificates of completion -- Sale or mortgage of completed development.","body":"(1) It shall be the duty of the supervising agency, upon any request from a\nredevelopment corporation, to determine whether the redevelopment of any unit or\nunits in the development area has been achieved, and if the supervising agency finds\nthat such redevel opment has been finished and achieved it shall issue to the\nredevelopment corporation a certificate of completion showing that the\nredevelopment of such parcel or parcels has or have been completed, describing\nsuch unit or units.\n(2) It shall be the duty o f the supervising agency, upon request from a redevelopment\ncorporation, to determine whether the redevelopment of the development area has\nbeen achieved, and if the supervising agency finds that such redevelopment has\nbeen finished and achieved it shall i ssue to the redevelopment corporation a\ncertificate of completion showing that the redevelopment of such area has been\ncompleted. No such determination or finding shall affect any unit or units for which\ncertificates of completion have been issued under subsection (1) of this section.\n(3) Such redevelopment property or unit thereof, may be sold or mortgaged, provided,\nhowever, that such sale or mortgage shall be authorized as herein provided and such\nproperty shall, after such sale or mortgage, be used for the general purposes of KRS\n99.010 to 99.310 and maintained in accordance with the standards provided therefor\nby the planning commission of such city in the original certificate of approval\nissued for such redevelopment under and pursuant to the provision s of KRS 99.040\nto 99.060.\n(4) Such certificate or certificates of completion shall be conclusive evidence, upon\nwhich any one (1) dealing with such property may rely, that the redevelopment of\nthe property therein described has been fully completed in con formity with KRS\n99.010 to 99.310 and the development plan.","path":["KRS Chapter 99"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26530","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:01Z","sha256":"a79f877ed01b7f6b2417737f07b4c25d8e7d3d6e19f6fa7dab3061099a27c5d1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-99.290","next":"us-ky/krs-99.310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
