{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.555","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.555","heading":"Authority to receive grants.","body":"In addition to the power and authority of any agency under KRS 99.550, such agency\nshall have the power and authority to act and receive grants from the federal government,\nlocal government, or any other sources, for the preparation, planning and completio n of\ncommunity renewal programs, and as authorized and provided for by section 405 of the\nFederal Housing Act of 1959, amending and adding to section 103 of the Housing Act of\n1949, as amended. Communities and other public bodies shall, in addition to the\nassistance permitted to be given by them under KRS 99.560, have the power and\nauthority to provide, either directly or to the agency, that portion of the total cost of the\npreparation, planning and completion of the community renewal program for which a\ngrant is not made by the federal government under said section 405 of the Federal\nHousing Act of 1959.","path":["KRS Chapter 99"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26556","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:02Z","sha256":"ac940bb347581a0e621fedc18cbcab877f7c4fd204ed556ec512da74ad36dca6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-99.550","next":"us-ky/krs-99.560"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
