{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-99.655","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 99.655","heading":"Prerequisites for acquisition of land: Plan -- Technical advisory board.","body":"No agency may acquire title to any land for the purpose of carrying out a development\nplan unless the following conditions have been met: A development plan clearly fixing\nthe boundaries of the proposed project area has been approved by the board of\ncommissioners and the plan has been made available for public inspection. The\ndevelopment plan shall designate, among other things, the proposed location, character\nand extent of the public and private land ownership and uses proposed within the area.\nThe develo pment plan may be amended from time to time including the extension of\nestablished project boundaries. All such amendments shall be made available for public\ninspection. There shall also be established a technical advisory board appointed by the\nmayor of t he city or urban -county government. There shall be eleven (11) members and\nthe chairman of the board of commissioners shall serve as the eleventh member and\nchairman of said board. The board shall be composed of professions in the various\ndevelopmental dis ciplines and shall include, but not be limited to architects, land use\nplanners, engineers, civic leaders in the area of historical preservation, related agency\nheads of city or urban-county government, developers, builders, and other members of the\ncommunity whose knowledge and ability will contribute to the purposes established in\nKRS 99.610 to 99.680.","path":["KRS Chapter 99"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=26574","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:50:02Z","sha256":"514fa9d03f80090719986333cd280da8c02f2bf1fb8a2b4148f3e58a68b397b0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-99.650","next":"us-ky/krs-99.660"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
